聖路加国際病院に入ると、他の病院と異なる病院全体に優しさのような雰囲気があって、苦しさから心が病んでいる患者も癒される。これは病院内に教会があり、いつもキリスト教の教えがスタッフに伝わってくるからかも知れない。

築地一帯は第2次大戦の際に米軍の爆撃を逃れているが、これは米軍が日本を占領した際に、米軍の患者をこの病院で手当したい為に、意図的に止めたとの話もある。

病院に接して高齢者用の施設があるが、この施設は聖路加国際病院が病気の際の手当をするとのことで、入所希望者が多いが、それなりの費用がかかる。

When you enter St. Luke's International Hospital, you will notice that there is an atmosphere of kindness throughout the hospital that is different from other hospitals, and even patients who are mentally ill from suffering are healed. This may be because there is a church within the hospital, and Christian teachings are always communicated to the staff.

The Tsukiji area escaped bombing by the U.S. military during World War II, but this was intentionally stopped because the U.S. military wanted to treat U.S. military patients at this hospital when they occupied Japan.

There is a facility for the elderly adjacent to the hospital, but St. Luke's International Hospital provides care for those who are ill, and many people wish to enter this facility, but it comes at a cost.
