地下鉄出口１，３より出て雷門方向へ進むと左手に浅草文化観光センターが見える。

一見変った建物に見えるが、新国立競技場や新歌舞伎座をデザインした隈研吾が得意とする木材を多用化した建築物になっている。

午前９時より午後８時まで、日本語、英語、中国語、韓国語による観光案内を行う。地下には多目的トイレ、男性用、女性用トイレがあり、観光客には有難い。１階が案内カウンター、外貨両替、２階には無料の観光情報雑誌やパソコンがあって便利。８階は展望テラスとなっている。
