（HPへ） G広告　広告主指定広告 Shopping, dining, etc. for foreign visitors 銀座4丁目-日本橋 �I日本橋高島屋 G広告　広告主指定広告 中央通をさらに進むと右手に日本橋高島屋。日本橋二丁目になる。通りを隔てて反対側に丸善。 高島屋は１８３１年に飯田家により京都にて古着屋が創業されて以来１８０年を超す老舗、１８８７年に設立された貿易会社「高島屋飯田新七東店」は現在の丸紅として続いている。 日本で初めての地下鉄である銀座線を造った時に、その建設費用に困っていた東京地下鉄道に対して駅と直結することを条件として建設費用を負担したのが、高島屋と三越で、この二つの百貨店が当時如何に隆盛を誇ったかがしのばれる。この結果、日本橋駅は高島屋と、三越前は三越と、駅と百貨店が繋がっている。 高島屋は写真の本館と並んで別館を造って、ここに多数のレストランと服飾店などのショップを誘致しているが、基本的には他の大手百貨店と同様のお店になるが、違いは長い歴史を反映して富裕層をお客としてきた為に、顧客層が違うことにある。 品川駅前にあり、以前は銀座１丁目辺りにもあった「つばめグリル」の高島屋別館で食事をしたが、コメディアンが大声で叫ぶアレではなく、由緒ある「ハンブルグ・ステーキ」であった。 Shopping, dining, etc. for foreign visitors Continuing along Chuo-dori, Nihonbashi Takashimaya will be on your right.
