この都庁の展望台は訪日客に大人気で、天気の良い日には延々と順番を待つ光景が見られる。

都庁第一本庁舎１階より展望室へのエレベーターにのると無料で４５階の展望室に行くことが出来る。展望室からの眺望は東京が一望に出来て素晴らしい。写真は中央通りに沿った新宿駅方向で、左手より新宿住友ビル、新宿三井ビル、新宿センタービル、コクーンタワー、中央通り、京王プラザホテルになる。

１階に降りると東京観光情報センターと全国観光PRセンターがそれぞれあり、都内の観光情報の提供と各都道府県の観光情報の提供を行っている。

Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building is very popular with visitors to Japan, and on clear days you can see people waiting endlessly for their turn.

If you take the elevator to the observation room from the 1st floor of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building No. 1 Main Building, you can go to the observation room on the 45th floor for free. The view from the observation deck is amazing, overlooking Tokyo. The photo is along Chuo-dori Street towards Shinjuku Station, with Shinjuku Sumitomo Building, Shinjuku Mitsui Building, Shinjuku Center Building, Cocoon Tower, Chuo-dori Street, and Keio Plaza Hotel on the left.

When you get down to the first floor, you will find the Tokyo Tourist Information Center and the National Tourism PR Center, which provide tourist information in Tokyo and each prefecture.
